Wil completed the audiobook reading for The Gemini Virus in early July, after three days in the studio with Grammy-winning producer Zane Birdwell. As with both the hardcover and eBook versions, the finished audio will be released through Macmillan Publishing, most likely in both CD and downloadable .mp3 form. More details, hopefully including a free .mp3 download of the book’s Prologue, should be forthcoming, as well as some photos and a video from the sessions.

Wil spends a few minutes chatting in-studio with former New York governor David Paterson on his radio show (WWOR 710 AM) about the Department of Justice’s lawsuit against the five major publishers and Apple concerning collusion in the retail pricing of eBooks, and about the eBooks revolution as a whole. They also touch upon Wil’s first two disaster thrillers, Wave and the forthcoming The Gemini Virus.
